Willie Lee McCutchen, 75, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on July 13, 2016.

Mr. McCutchen was born in Bishopville, SC on March 14, 1941, a son of the late Sam and Lottie McCutchen.

Prior to retiring, Willie was employed by the U.S. Postal Service as a Clerk.

He leaves to honor his legacy and cherish loving and lasting memories: his former spouse, Janet McCutchen; children, Willie L. McCutchen (Donna),Vincent McCutchen and Sabrina McCutchen; a brother, Jessie McCutchen (Ruby); sisters, Naomi Wilson, Letha Mae McDuffie, Janie Mae Hudson (Leroy) and Eartha Silveira; five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by brothers, Byard and Sam McCutchen.

A celebration of Mr. McCutchen's life and legacy will be held Thursday, July 21, 2016, at 11:00 AM at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Viewing will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM. Burial will be private.
