Victoria E. Draughn, 76, of Hamden, entered eternal rest on August 5, 2021. She was the widow of Layton Draughn.

Mrs. Draughn was born in Penola, VA on February 22, 1945, the daughter of the late Robert E. Lewis.

She was a longtime member of Whitney Avenue Church of Christ and retired from Sikorsky Aircraft as an Administrator after 42 years of service.

She leaves to cherish loving memories, her sons, Randall J. Draughn, Darrell N. Draughn (Shenae), and Derrick A. Draughn; her grandchildren, Brittany Draughn, Darrell N. Draughn, Jr., Maya Draughn and Derrick A. Draughn, Jr.; a great grandson, Maurice Bryan; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by a brother, Benjamin Lewis.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2021, from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at Whitney Avenue Church of Christ, 2141 Whitney Ave., North Haven. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral service will be private. The burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery, Whitakers, NC on Thursday, August 19, 2021. A picnic in celebration of Mrs. Draughn's life will be held in the Spring of 2022 in Bethany.
