Vernell R. Gilliard, 68, of West Haven, entered into eternal rest on November 13, 2014.

A celebration of Ms. Gilliard's life and legacy will be held Saturday, November 22, 2014, at 9:00 AM at Church on the Rock, 95 Hamilton St., New Haven. Viewing will be held at the church from 8:00-9:00 AM. Burial will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
