Valerie J. Dolphin, 61, of New Haven, departed this life September 26, 2014.

Born in New Haven, CT, January 10, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Wilbert and Thelma Frison.

She is survived by sons, Donald Frison of Bridgeport, CT, and Danny (Antwan) and Jeffrey Dolphin of New Haven, CT; a daughter, Angel Dolphin of New Haven, CT; a brother, Wilbert Fryson (Brenda) of Brooklyn, NY; 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Danny Dolphin, III.

Burial will be private.
