Theise A. "Treezy" Sargent, 55, of New Haven, entered into eternal rest on February 14, 2015.

Born in New Haven, CT, December 27, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Pringlee and Emma Jane Lewis Clinkscales.

Ms. Sargent was employed at the Hospital of St. Raphael in the Environmental Services Department.

She is survived by sons, Theo Sargent and Earnist Sargent (Tia Smith); a daughter, Gwennette Sargent; stepdaughter, Kiesha Mallory brothers, Carlos and Glen Clinkscales; sisters, Tina Johnson, Edielee Sims, Ida Clinkscales and Sonya Bethea (Mack); 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; special friends, Debra James, Brenda Jones, Alicia Daniels, Dawn Conner, Jackie Miner and Ernestine Darden; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Earnist Sargent, Sr.; and brothers, Calvin, Louie and Lamont Clinkscales.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the Staff of Yale-New Haven Hospital and CT Hospice.

A celebration of Mrs. Sargent's life and legacy will be held Monday, February 23, 2015, at 10:00 A.M. at Christ Chapel New Testament Church, 220 Dixwell Ave., New Haven. Viewing will be held at the church from 9:00-10:00 A.M. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
