Sherry J. Epps, 59, of New Haven, peacefully departed this earth on December 6, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late Shelby Jean Epps and Jimmie Lee Epps.

Sherry leaves to cherish her memories, her longtime companion, Howard Saunders, Jr.; sons, Sahib Epps and Howard Saunders III; daughters, Keisha Epps Jefferson, Marissa Saunders McKenzie and Everest Saunders Rogers; 20 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 6 sisters; 5 brothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; a brother, Travis Epps; and a daughter, Tamika Epps.

A celebration of Ms. Epps' life and legacy will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 9:00 AM at Springs of Life-Giving Water Church, 375 Howard Ave., New Haven. Viewing will be held at the church from 8:00-9:00 AM. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
