Seth Steven McDonald, 31, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on August 14, 2023. He was born in New Haven, CT on September 6, 1991, a son of Deborah McDonald and Steven Canady.

Seth attended and graduated from Gateway Community College, where he was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.  He was employed by Girl Scouts of America as a Copywriter.  He developed a strong passion for astrology, even creating his own consulting firm; The Cusp Consulting, that allowed him to meet and help people from all over the world.

He was a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and encouraged other members of that community to walk in their truth proudly.

In addition to his parents, he leaves to cherish loving memories, two brothers, Sean McDonald and his wife Alexis and Charles Perry; a sister, Gabrielle Green; uncles, Terrence McDonald, Isaac Canady, Hugh Canady, Eric Canady and his aunts, Kim Waldmann, Marion Canady, Catherine Canady; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Seth's life will be held Friday, September 1, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight Street, New Haven.
