Richard Albert Adams, departed this life on April 2, 2020.

He was born in Enfield, NH, son of the late Frank S. Adams and Ella M. Adams.  He was a Navy veteran.

Richard was well known in the New Haven Community, especially on Whalley Ave., for his presence in the neighborhood; love for being outside; and of course, walking with his fresh Converse Chucks. Richard would always walk around the neighborhood and show his love and support for local businesses. One of his favorite places was Whalley Pizza. Richard had a strong interest in sports. It didn't matter which type of sports game he was watching, he always knew who the players were. He was a beloved friend who loved to entertain. We could always count on Richard for his honesty and guidance.

Richard is survived by all his loving family and friends.
