Mamie Gatison London, born December 2, 1926, a native of Ansonia, CT, passed away on November 13, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband, T. Roosevelt London.

Mamie was the daughter of the late Leroy Gatison and Queen Esther Smith Gatison.

She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Delinda London Conte; son-in-law, David G. Conte; granddaughter, Dana L. Cannady; grandson, Jeremy S. Conte; sisters, Leona Thomas (Edgar), Estelle Silva and Marie Davis; special friend, Ruth Morrill; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by a brother, William Gatison; and sisters, Margaret McCalla and Frances Dawson.

A celebration of her life will be held Monday, November 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church, 1324 Chapel St., New Haven. Viewing will be held at the church from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, 15 Church St., Ansonia.
