Ada Lopez, 85, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on January 27, 2022. Ada was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico on April 24, 1936, to the late Ramon Ruiz & Epiphania Rozario Ruiz. Ada was a loving wife and mother. She devoted her life to caring for her family.

She leaves to cherish loving memories, her children, Ada Lopez, Brunilda Samuel (Dana), Amelia Johnson (Leonard), Arcenia Lopez; grandchildren, Lynelle Ramos, Britney Poole (Crevaughn), Andre Johnson, Jordan Dennis, Dana Samuel; great grandchildren, Sky Ramos, Andre Johnson Jr., Elle Ramos, Milani Poole, Devine Johnson & Tyonna Cirino; great great grandchild, Arielyz Cirino; her brothers, Jose Ruiz, Luiz Levitz and sister Ida Levitz. She leaves behind a host of beloved relatives; nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Ada was preceded in death by her husband Florencio Lopez, her son Florencio Lopez Jr., grandson Robert Cirino, great grandson Robert Cirino Jr. and sister Librada Lopez.

A celebration of Ada's life and legacy will be held Friday, February 4, 2022, at 11:00AM at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM The burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
