Jonnie P. Flynn, 93, of West Haven, entered eternal rest on December 23, 2017. She was the widow of Abraham Flynn, Sr.

Mrs. Flynn was born in St. Petersburg, FL on January 5, 1924, daughter of the late John and Lula Bell Jacobs.

She was employed as a homemaker and enjoyed creating meals for family and friends for many years.

Mrs. Flynn leaves to cherish loving memories, a daughter, Sandra Flynn-Brown; sons, Abraham Flynn, Jr. (Aisha) and Carlos Flynn; 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother, John Woods.

A memorial service to celebrate to Mrs. Flynn's life and legacy will be held Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven.
