John Young, Jr., 51, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on January 8, 2017. He was the beloved husband of April Mack Young.

John was born in New Haven, CT on November 21, 1965. He was the son of Eloise Thomas and the late John Young, Sr.

Mr. Young was employed by Chartwells Dining Service as a Cold Food Preparer.

In addition to his wife and mother, he leaves to cherish loving memories, his sons, Jaquan Bailey, John Michael Young and John Lee Young, III; a daughter, Praniece (Nathan) Nicholson; sister, Gloria Pickett; a granddaughter, Journey Bailey; nephew, Eric Young; and a host of other relatives and friends.
