Harry W. Jennings, IV, age 73, of Hamden, CT, departed this life on March 4, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Alice Epps Jennings.

Mr. Jennings was born in Waterbury, CT on January 28, 1951, a son of the late Harry W. Jennings, III and Geraldine Hobby Jennings.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 1 as a Construction Worker.

In addition to his wife, he leaves to cherish loving memories, a son, Scott Whitney Jennings; brother, Gervase Jennings; sisters, Laurinda Jennings and Olivia Page of North Carolina; five grandchildren, Brandon Jennings, Taylor Jennings, Jada Jennings, Kai Jennings and MajorScott Jennings; great grandchildren, Mariah Thomas, RJ Thomas and Akeem Thomas; his godson, Ian Norman; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by a son, Harry William Jennings, V; and a brother, Gerald Jennings.

A Memorial service to celebrate Mr. Jennings' life and legacy will be held Monday, March 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Following the memorial service, Mr. Jennings' cremated remains will be buried in Hamden Plains Cemetery.
