Gregory Joseph Bell, 55, of North Haven, departed this life August 29, 2014.

Born in Rochester, NY, May 31, 1959, he was the son of Norma E. Bell and the late Carlton F. Bell.

Mr. Bell served in the U.S. Air Force.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Coleen Bell le Pere; a brother, Carl D. Bell; nieces, Christine, Courtney and Chelsea Bell and Journi-Nevaeh Bell le Pere; nephews, Craig Jones, Jr. and Zwelakhe-Duma Bell le Pere; former sister in-law, Chantelle Bell; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Requiem Mass to celebrate Mr. Bell's life and legacy will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 262 Shelton Ave., New Haven. Viewing will be held at the church from 9:00-10:00 A.M. Burial will be private.
