Frederick Lee Washington, 45, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on November 2, 2017.

He was born in Greenville, NC on July 20, 1972, son of Jeanette Jones and the late Richard E. Gray.

In addition to his mother, Frederick is survived by sons, Kevin and Shaquille Washington; his stepfather, Willie Jones; brothers, Melvin Harris (Shanda) and Robert Washington; two sisters; Sharonda and Sheila Washington; a stepsister; three stepbrothers; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by a brother, Curtis Jermaine Washington.

A celebration of Frederick's life will be held Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Matthew's UFWB Church, 400 Dixwell Ave., New Haven. Viewing will be held at the church from 10:00-11:00 AM. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
