Florella Belle Jones, died on Thursday, August 18, 2022, in New Haven, CT.

She was born in Ocala, FL, a daughter of the late Millie Harris Williams and Lucius James Perry.

Florella leaves behind her only daughter, Gloria Goodwin; granddaughters, Erica, Precious and Joy; her great grandchildren, Jariya, Jarvis, Deryn and Micah. She also leaves behind three sisters, Janie Wallace King of Fruitland Park, FL, Geneva Coleman of Orlando, FL; and Delores of Philadelphia, PA, who now resides in FL. In addition, she is survived by 300 family members in the north, south, east and west.

She was predeceased by a brother, Sandy Harris.

Florella was a strong individual.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 9:00 A.M. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight Street., New Haven. The viewing will be held from 8:00-9:00 A.M. The burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
