Eunice Davis, 98, of New Haven, entered into eternal rest on March 30, 2016. She was the widow of John Davis.

Mrs. Davis was born in New Haven, CT on September 6, 1917, a daughter of the late Prince Cables and Maude Mitchell Cables.

Mrs. Davis is survived by a daughter, Dolores (Donald) Lawhorn; stepson, Allen Davis; a stepdaughter, Patricia Harris; sister, Beatrice Washington; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by brothers, Warren and Gordon Cables; and a sister, Constance Hammond.

A Graveside service to celebrate Mrs. Davis' life and legacy will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at 11:00 AM at Beaverdale Memorial Park, 90 Pine Rock Ave., New Haven.
