Ellen T. Culbreath, 70, of Waterbury, Connecticut, peacefully entered eternal rest on June 29, 2025.

Born on June 10, 1955, in Middletown, CT, Ellen was the beloved daughter of the late George Culbreath, Sr. and Ella Culbreath.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Takisha M. Culbreath, Shavonne L. Culbreath, and Jasman Cox; her siblings: George Culbreath, Jr. (Jeanette), Judy Culbreath, Joyce Culbreath, Daisy Culbreath, and Maurice Culbreath (Valencia); four cherished grandchildren: China Culbreath, Kyre Culbreath, Aviana Cannon, and Karon Harrison; and one great-grandchild. She also leaves behind her devoted companion, Douglas Hayes, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Ellen was preceded in death by her brother, Johnathan Culbreath.

A memorial service celebrating Ellen's life and legacy will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 7, 2025, at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight Street, New Haven.
