Leroy Dumas, 88, of Hamden, departed this life on November 17, 2014. He was the husband of Louise Dumas.

Mr. Dumas was born in Mt. Gilead, NC, on October 9, 1926.

He was employed at Brockway Smith Trucking Co. as a Truck Driver and was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for over 30 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Gail Dumas; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by brothers, Will and Parnell Dumas; and sisters, Evelyn Dumas and Ida Mae Ingram.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014, at 1:00 P.M. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 885 Wintergreen Ave., Hamden.
