Analdi Diaz, 62, of Uncasville, departed this life September 16, 2014. He was the husband of Oree Diaz.

Born in Puerto Rico, October 16, 1951, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Carmen Trujillo Diaz.

Mr. Diaz was employed at Sargent Manufacturing as a Machine Operator. He was a member of Called By Christ Holy Ministry where he served as a Deacon.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Analdi, Jr. (Jeannette), Keith (Jamie) and Daniel Diaz; stepdaughter, Corrinna Martin Rich (John); brothers, Manuel, Felix and Andres Diaz; sisters. Marguerita and Martha Diaz; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of Mr. Diaz's life and legacy will be held Saturday, September 20, 2014, at 9:00 A.M. at Morning Star Freewill Holiness Church, 125 Dixwell Ave., New Haven. Viewing will be held at the church Saturday from 8:00-9:00 A.M and Friday from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
