Lucille DeBerry, 80, of Hamden, entered into eternal rest on October 11, 2015. She was the wife of Frank DeBerry, Sr..

Born in New Haven, CT, April 6, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Henry H. Green and Victoria Law Green.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Deborah Adams, Barbara, Doreen and Michelle Green; sons, Frank Jr. and Richard DeBerry; a brother, James C. Green; sisters, Barbara Dozier, Lillie Mae Lowe and Bernice Heath; six grandchildren; a great grandchild; and other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by a brother, Henry H. Green, Jr.; and a sister, Annie Mae Doggans.

A celebration of Mrs. DeBerry's life and legacy will be held Friday, October 16, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Viewing will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
