Corrine M. Dorsey, 65, of Middletown, entered eternal rest on December 5, 2017. She was the beloved wife of Hirley Dorsey for 45 years.

Mrs. Dorsey was born in Hartford, CT on September 2, 1952, daughter of Marjorie Gordon and the late Claude Muff.

She was employed at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft as a Shortage Clerk.

Corrine was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Middletown where she served on the Pastor's Aide Committee, Hospitality Committee and the Shiloh Help Ministry. She was also a member of the Eastern Stars Chapter #22.

Mrs. Dorsey served as a Planning and Zoning Commissioner in Middletown since 1989; was a member of the Republican Town Council as well as the Board of Tax Review for the city of Middletown.

In addition to her husband and mother, she leaves to cherish memories, daughters, Toscha Dorsey, Monique Dorsey and Chalecia Outlaw (Michael); sisters, Florence Hooker (Craig) and Gwendolyn Muff; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by a sister, Claudette Ford.

A celebration of Mrs. Dorsey's life and legacy will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 346 Butternut St., Middletown. Viewing and visitation will be held at the church from 10:00-11:00 AM. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middletown.
