Brenda C. McCullough, 81, of West Haven, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Dan McCullough, Jr.

Born on January 16, 1944, in Greenville, NC, Brenda was the daughter of the late Lawrence Anderson and Virginia Dare Anderson. She dedicated her career to the Knights of Columbus, where she worked as an Insurance Clerk until her retirement.

A member of Bethel A.M.E. Church in New Haven, Brenda was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family.

She leaves behind cherished memories with her daughter, Dawn McCullough; her brother, Brantley Anderson; two adored grandchildren, Haley Marie McCullough and Danny Garcia-McCullough; and a precious great-grandchild, Kash Belance. She will also be deeply missed by a host of loving relatives and friends.

Brenda was preceded in death by her son, Danny McCullough III.

A memorial service celebrating her life and legacy will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight Street, New Haven.
