Brenda Louise Jones, 67, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on July 21, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Walter F. Jones.

Mrs. Jones was born in Brooklyn, NY, on December 20, 1954, a daughter of the late James Turner and Gertrude Watkins Turner.

She was previously employed by A&B Homecare Solutions as a Certified Nurse's Assistant.

Brenda was a faithful member of Apostolic Ministries in New Haven where she served as a Greeter.

In addition to her husband, she leaves to cherish loving memories, daughters, Tanya Browne and Rameika Browne; two sons, Ryan Jones and his wife Lulu and Walter Jones Jr.; a daughter in-law, Kirsten Browne; three brothers, Larry Turner and his wife Jean, Keith Turner and David Turner; sisters, Deborah Turner, Barbara Shannon and her husband Charles and Michele Leonard and her husband Allan; grandchildren Steven Rountree, Alaysia Browne, Daquan Bumbry, Lauren Robinson, Vanessa Browne, Milani Jones and Elijah Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by a son, Chris Brown; a brother, Ronald Turner; and a sister, Joyce Turner.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Bradley Point Park, West Haven, CT.
