Blanche M. Hines, age 79, affectionately known as Honey, entered eternal rest on December 30, 2016. She was the widow of Donald R. Hines.

Mrs. Hines was born in New Haven, CT, on March 24, 1937. She was the daughter of the late William Hundley and Albertha Handy Hundley.

Mrs. Hines leaves to cherish loving and lasting memories, her daughters, April Cooper, Kris Hines, Donna Odom and Lynn Campbell; a sister, Paulette Hundley; brother, William Hundley; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by sisters, Ruth Carter, Savannah Smith, Pauline Jackson, Shirley Scott and Valerie Wyley; and brothers, Robert and Arthur Hundley and Ralph Ashe.

A memorial celebration of Mrs. Hines' life and legacy will be held Friday, January 6, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St, New Haven.
