Archie L. Waller, 77, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on December 13, 2017.

Mr. Waller was born in Danville, VA on July 11, 1940, son of the late Willie and Bessie Waller.

Prior to retiring, he was employed by the New Haven Housing Authority as a Plumber.

Archie leaves to cherish loving memories, sons, Lance Waller (Dawn), Herbert Osborn (Geri), Albert Osborn, Mark and Orrieon Cowes (Renee); daughters, Lisa Eaton, Ruth Blango, Annette Collins (Ernest), Gene Daniels and Sharon Osborn; a sister, Delores Horner; brother, Billy Waller; his longtime companion, Regina Brown; 30 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 21 great-great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by brothers, Johnnie, Albert, Willie, Jerry, Alvin and Bobby Russell Waller; and sisters, Marie Newman and Verla Waller.

A celebration of Mr. Waller's life and legacy will be held Monday, December 18, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Viewing will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM. Burial will be in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
