Angella M. Barrett, 46, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on September 4, 2016.

Angella was born in Kingston, Jamaica on February 14, 1970. She was a daughter of the late Richard Bailey and Louise Thomas.

She was employed at Yale-New Haven Health in the Environmental Services Dept. and was a member of Mount of God Tabernacle Church in New Haven.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a son, Sean Barrett; brothers, Trevor, Delroy and Washington Bailey; a sister, Rose Bailey; grandchildren, Syra Barrett-Diaz, Aaniah Barrett and Sean Barrett, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by a son, Shaine Barrett and a brother, Neville Bailey.

A celebration of Angella's life and legacy will be held Saturday, September 17, 2016, at 9:00 AM at Morning Star Freewill Holiness Church, 125 Dixwell Ave., New Haven. Viewing will be held at the church from 8:00-9:00 AM. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Viewing and visitation will be held Friday, September 16, 2016, from 5:00-8:00 PM at Ebenezer Chapel, 50 Dwight St., New Haven.
