Adassa E. Clarke, 86, of New Haven, entered eternal rest on January 24, 2023. She was the widow of John Clarke.

Mrs. Clarke was born in Manchester, Jamaica, on January 18, 1937, a daughter of the late Raphael Minott and Rebecca Bent Minott.

She was employed for many years as a Home Health Aide.

Mrs. Clarke leaves to cherish loving memories, her daughter, Sonia Clark; many nieces, grand nieces, many nephews and grand nephews; and friends.

She was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.

A funeral service to celebrate Mrs. Clarke's life and legacy will be held Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 9:00 A.M. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight Street, New Haven. A viewing will be held from 8:00-9:00 A.M. The burial will be in Hamden Plains Cemetery.
