Mary F. Patterson, 77, of Hamden, departed this life December 3, 2009.
Born in Anson County, NC, January 8, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Esiah and Estella Flake Ingram.
Prior to retiring, she was employed at U.S. Repeating Arms as a Machine Operator. She was a longtime member of St. Matthew's UFWB Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Cynthia Patterson; a son, Harvest Ingram; brothers, Rev. James W. Flake, Sr. and Esiah Ingram, Jr.; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald H. Ingram.
A celebration of Mrs. Patterson's life and legacy will be held Friday, December 11, 2009, at 7:00 P.M. at St. Matthew's UFWB Church, 400 Dixwell Ave., New Haven. Burial will be Saturday at 9:00 A.M. in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
