Violeta E. Gill, 92, of New Haven, departed this life October 11, 2007.
Born in Panama City, Panama, July 19, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Clem Gill and Adriana Winn.
She had been employed at the Hill Health Center as an Administrative Assistant.
Ms. Gill is survived by sisters, Lilia Weeks and Cecilia Green; brothers, Carlos and Lamont Gill; daughters, Elena Gill de Payne, Nora de Beech and Margaret Dinsmore-Vulgaris; and other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by a brother, Arnold Gill and a sister, Norma Gill.
A celebration of Ms. Gill's life and legacy will be held Thursday, October 18, 2007, at 11:00 AM at St. Martin DePorres Church, 136 Dixwell Ave., New Haven. Friends may call at the church from 10:00-11:00 AM. Burial in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
