Papa, Arlene (Sissy) and Crystal, Gina, Pat, Burt, Pancho, and all the Grandchildren:
With the passing of Mama, a great woman of character and stature; my sincere condolences to your beautiful family - a family that has so loving accepted me as a special friend since highschool some 30 years ago (sorry Crys I am telling our age). I thank you for that and I thank Mama for the legacy that she has left in you all. Humor, witt, simplicity and as Raymond said she represented love, acceptance and forgiveness. The later three words that I have pondered over greatly since the funeral service. What a blessing your mom was to those who knew her and she exemplified a true woman who lived by those words. I want you all to know the blessing that I myself have received in knowing her and in her passing. I will always cherish the past, the times that I was in her presence. And I look forward to the future and more fellowship with you all. Finally, I only hope that I can learn to emulate what she stood for as a woman. I pray that she now rests in peace and pray for your healing. Know that you have all done her proud and that she is only away for a short time until you meet her again in that heavenly place!
Love, Andrea
