Anne L. Davis, 84, of West Haven, departed this life March 18, 2010. She was the widow of Brazil Davis.
Born in Weldon, NC, August 25, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Maryland and Annie Newsome Ghee.
Prior to retiring, she was employed at Bamburger’s in the Business Office.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Larry Davis; daughters, Shirley Dumas, Arnell Wilson and Anita and Roslyn McAuley; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by a son, Maryland Davis.
A celebration of Mrs. Davis’ life and legacy will be held Saturday, March 20, 2010, at 9:00 AM at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Viewing and visitation will be held from 8:30-9:00 AM. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
