Evelyn Lucille Bryant, 87, of Brooklyn, NY, departed this life October 24, 2007.
Born in Goldsboro, NC, July 18, 1920, she was the daughter of the late George and Selena Bryant.
She is survived by her sister, Annie Goldman; sisters in-law, Dorothy and Audrey Bryant; 6 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by 2 children, Raymond and Charles Bryant; 4 brothers, Charles, George, Thomas and Henry Bryant; and a granddaughter.
A celebration of Ms. Bryant's life and legacy will be held Monday, October 29, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Friends may call from 10:00-11:00 AM. Burial in Hamden Plains Cemetery.
