Roger Barber, Sr., age 66, of West Haven, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at the West Haven VA Medical Center.
Born in Waynesboro, VA, February 2, 1943, he was the son of the late Bertie Barber.
He was the loving father of four sons, three daughters, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild. He also shared his life with his loving companion, Iris Butler, of West Haven.
Funeral service will be held Monday, June 22, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Friends may call from 10:00-11:00 A.M. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
