Amanda Rae Baker, 23, of Middletown, departed this life October 19, 2009.
Born in Charlotte, NC, September 18, 1986, she was the daughter of Jean Baker and the late Anthony R. Baker.
Amanda was a student at the Center for Culinary Arts.
In addition to her mother, she leaves to cherish her memory a son, Shamar T. Baker; a daughter, Shamiah N. Horne; brothers, Anthony S. Henley and Travis A. Baker; grandparents, Earl and Louise Sharpe, Clinton Spivey and June Eastland; uncles, Marshall D. and Mark R. Baker; aunts, Vanessa and Karen Sharpe; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Amanda's life will be held Monday, October 26, 2009, at 11:00 A.M. at Cross Street AME Zion Church, 440 West St., Middletown. Viewing and visitation will be held at the church from 10:00-11:00 A.M. Burial will be private.
