May your family find peace and comfort during this time.
"Allen" loved to joke and tease and spent a lot of time smiling. Find comfort in those fond memories.

May God bless your family during this time. Art was one of a kind. He spoke only the truth no matter what. If you did not want to hear it, then you should not have been in his presence. Everytime I saw him in the hallways at work he acknowledged me, he made me smile (no laugh). You had to know him in order to appreciate his humor. I spoke to him like he spoke to everyone else. This was how he communicated. Don't sugar coat anything. It is what it is. Art will be missed by a lot of people. He had an infectious way about him. You had to love him if you knew him.
God bless all of you.

I was so sorry to here of your loss. I met Art when I started at the VA eight years ago. He was sweet, and cranky, and funny. You always knew where you stood with Art,and I always admired his honesty. I used to bake him cookies because he was one of my favorite people. I will miss him. He was very special. His passing is a loss to many.
