Alean L. Joyner, 62, of Hamden, departed this life May 3, 2010.
Born in Darlington, SC, January 4, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Allen L. and Kathleen Joyner.
Ms. Joyner was employed in the Banking Industry for numerous years as a Financial Consultant.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Patricia A. Joyner and Tanisha N. Joyner-Brown; two sisters; six brothers; five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
A celebration of Ms. Joyner's life and legacy will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at 11:00 AM at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven. Viewing and visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
